GOAA has publicly advertised these advertisements in the Legal Classifieds section of the Orlando Sentinel within the last 60 days per Florida State Statute 255.0525(2).  Any information regarding pre-bid meetings, the purchase of bid documents, or to whom questions should be directed, is project-specific and included in the advertisement.

ARRA Grant Funds (www.Recovery.gov)

The Orlando International Airport has received grant funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) from the Federal Aviation Administration as follows:

Project:  BP-394C, Rehabilitation of Taxiway C and Related Work, Phase III

Descripton: Taxiway C is a parallel and primary taxiway servicing Runway 18R-36L and Runway 18L-36R. The objective of the project is to extend the expected useful life of the taxiway pavements, maintain the aircraft taxiing capacity and enhance the safety of operations at the Orlando International Airport. This project generally includes the resurfacing and/or strengthening of the taxiway pavements and related work for Taxiway C and associated taxiway connectors from Taxiway E to Taxiway B-1. 

Estimated Construction Costs:  $5,134,204

ARRA Funds Received: $5,134,204

 

The Orlando International Airport has received funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) from the Transportation Security Administration as follows:

Project:  BP-X019, Airport Security Improvement Program - In-Line Baggage Screening System, Phase C

Descripton: Implementation of the Central and West screening matrices for the in-line baggage screening system. 

Estimated Construction Costs:  $16,585,898

ARRA Funds Received: $14,927,308

Upcoming Construction Projects

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has an on-going construction program and will be advertising for bids on various construction projects. This program includes both building construction and civil work at Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport. The construction values of the individual projects are estimated to be between $250,000 and $35 million.

This site is used to dispense as much information as possible to potential bidders on proposed construction projects for which bids will be solicited within the next three months. While we will endeavor to provide accurate information, construction contractors are cautioned not to rely on this information alone, but should continue to use their normal sources for identification of potential projects for which they wish to bid.
