6/10/2005 - Orlando International Airport and the Orlando Philharmonic Present: "A Salute to Freedom"

ORLANDO, FL. "Liberty Weekend" has become a Central Florida tradition. This years Liberty Weekend falls on June 25th and 26th. The Orlando International Airport and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra are joining forces in what is being called, "A Salute to Freedom." The event will feature a selection of patriotic music and popular favorites performed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Andy Lane.

The public is invited to attend the FREE performance in the atrium of the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Orlando International Airport. Concert attendees will also receive three hours of complimentary parking.

To make the event even more memorable, the Hyatt is offering a variety of Liberty Weekend Package Specials:

  • Deluxe Liberty Weekend Package with deluxe room accommodations, VIP reception, gourmet dinner for two served on the Performance Balcony, Sunday morning breakfast for two with a jazz trio in the Hemisphere Restaurant.
  • Liberty Dinner Package including a VIP reception, and gourmet dinner served on the hotels Performance Balcony overlooking the symphony.

Liberty Weekend is one of several public events held annually at Orlando International Airport and is designed to showcase the beauty of the airport while giving travelers and the general public the opportunity to enjoy music in a unique setting, the middle of the busiest airport in Florida.
