3/8/2006 - Orlando International Wins Best Airport in Customer Service

ORLANDO, FL. Airport Revenue News (ARN) has named Orlando International Airport the "Airport with Best Customer Service Airport-Wide."

"We are pleased to be recognized by Airport Revenue News. This reaffirms our ongoing commitment to outstanding customer service in everything that we do. From the cleanliness of the terminal to the professionalism of our staff, we know that a high level of customer service helps make Orlando International one of the premier airports in the world," says Steve Gardner, Interim Executive Director for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.

Orlando International was nominated for the award by readers of ARN magazine because of the airports noticeably high standards of excellence in the area of customer service. ARN then dispatched expert judges to compare nominees and make their final decision.

Also receiving recognition in the 2006 ARN Best Concessions Poll is L’Occitane. The store located at Orlando International Airport specializes in French soaps and beauty products walked away with "Best Airport Retail Store Design".

Orlando International is the busiest airport for passenger traffic in the state of Florida with over 34.1 million travelers in 2005.
