ORLANDO, FL. For the fourth consecutive month, more than three million passengers processed through Orlando International Airport (MCO). In June, 3,001,175 travelers used the airport representing a 3.24% increase in traffic compared to the same period last year.
Previous three months with over three million passengers:
- March - 3,320,172
- April 3,213,051
- May - 3,046,130
For the month, JetBlue Airways and Delta Connection started new daily service to two new markets from MCO, Burbank, California and Hartford, Connecticut. Also increasing service in June were Bahamasair, Air Jamaica, AeroMexico, Air Transat, Continental, Northwest, Condor, Spirit Airlines and US Airways.
Overall aircraft operations at Orlando Executive Airport also increased in June, up 2.66 percent for the month over June 2005.

Orlando International Airport is the busiest passenger airport in the state of Florida with over 34.1 million travelers in 2005.
