ORLANDO, FL, - Orlando’s hometown carrier, AirTran Airways, added new service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. With the soothing sounds of a tropical steel drum band playing in the background, AirTran treated the inaugural flight’s passengers to a festive atmosphere, tropical smoothies and goodie bags while AirTran crew members danced and entertained the crowd. AirTran will operate the flight four days a week from MCO using a Boeing 737 with a capacity of 137 passengers.
