9/8/2010 - Domestic and International Travel Increased in July at Orlando International Airport
ORLANDO, FL. - July proved to be the second busiest month of the year so far at Orlando International Airport (MCO). More than 3.2 million travelers moved through MCO in July, only slightly behind March of this year. The overall increase of 5.32 percent reflects welcomed domestic growth and double-digit international gains for the month.
The July rise marks the first time this year MCO has recorded three straight months of traffic increases over last year. Traffic rose 1.9 percent in May, 2.1 percent in June and 5.3 percent in July.
Statistical Information for July 2010:
- Domestic traffic increased 4.23 percent
- International traffic was up 16.73 percent
- Year-to-date overall traffic is up 1.76 percent
- For July 3,263,288 passengers traveled through Orlando International Airport
