In the busy holiday season, scenes from the Nutcracker Suite were performed by the Orlando Ballet Company at Orlando International Airport, surprising holiday travelers and airport visitors with this unique event in an airport. The annual entertainment tradition for the airport is a way of embracing the arts and culture of the region and spreading holiday cheer to the more than two million travelers expected during the 16-day peak travel season. Additional entertainment during the holiday includes the Orlando Philharmonic Ensemble, Jones High School Chorus, Ravelli and the Handel Messiah Choral Society.
