6/15/2011 - The Orlando International Airport and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Celebrate America's Birthday Set to Music
ORLANDO, FL. – Liberty Weekend will fill the air with more power than usual at Orlando International Airport. As aircraft take flight and land outside, inside the soaring sounds of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will resonate throughout the main terminal. On Saturday night, June 25, The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and the Orchestra invite the community, visitors and travelers to share in a musical celebration of freedom. This year’s theme of “The Blessings of Liberty” will feature patriotic classics, along with contemporary favorites, from composers like Sousa, Copland and Bernstein. Another highlight of the evening will be a salute to all of our nation’s veterans.
