To better provide our 2.3 million passengers with an enjoyable Orlando Experience during this festive time of year, the airport has developed a “Top Ten” list of things to remember when traveling at MCO this holiday season.

Top Ten Travel Tips at Orlando International Airport:

  1. Arrive at least 2-hours early for domestic flights and 3-hours early for international travel.
  2. Pack as lightly as possible.
  3. Do not wrap holiday gifts in your carry-on luggage. They will be subject to search.
  4. Keep your passport and or other government-issued picture dentification handy as it will be needed at various stages of the check-in process.
  5. When picking up passengers, remember to allow 30 minutes after scheduled flight arrival time before driving to curb for pickup. This allows time for guests to move through the terminal, collect their luggage and meet you at the curb for quick, hassle-free pickup.
  6. TAKE SECURITY SERIOUSLY! DO NOT MAKE JOKES OR LIGHT-HEARTED COMMENTS WHILE BEING PROCESSED FOR A FLIGHT.
  7. DO NOT BRING WEAPONS OR PROHIBITED ITEMS TO THE AIRPORT. If you do, secure them in your vehicle before entering the main terminal building.
  8. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. All airport employees are trained in customer service for your Orlando Experience.
  9. If you do forget an item in the terminal please contact MCO Lost and Found with as much detail as possible to reunite you with your lost item. Lost and Found number is 407-825-2111.
  10. Pack your patience. Remember, there are 2.3 million other travelers with you at the airport at this time of year and sometimes nerves can be short.
