Local Developing Business Program: From time to time solicitations are set-aside for award to "Local Developing Businesses". The following information should help you determine if your firm may qualify under this program:

Local Development Business (LDB) Program (for Non-Federal Projects)

• Race/Gender Neutral Participation
• Business domiciled in the Orlando Standard Metropolitan Area (Orange-Seminole, Osceola and Lake County)
• Individuals who own at least 51% of the business, and control/manage the operation on a daily basis
• Personal Net Worth limitation is $500,000 Excluding the equity in the individual’s primary residence up to %500,000 and any businesses in which the individual is actively involved in the management and day to day operation
• Revenue Limitation:
  Construction - $2,500,000 in annual gross revenues averaged over the last 3 years.
  Professional Services - $1,000,000 annual gross revenues averaged over the last 3 years Procurement of goods and services (not including professional services in 1 and 2 above) $1,000,000 annual gross profit averaged over the last 3 years
• Must be certified by GOAA
• To further promote the development of LDBs, the Authority makes available designated mobilization payments to LDB professional services, construction and procurement firms up to 10% of the contract value
